Public benefits

Whilst a public benefit statement has been provided, the Commission has relied on other evidence to satisfy itself that the public benefit requirement has been met. The trust is established to support by means of financial assistance: 1. any charitable organisation working for the prevention and relief of poverty, suffering and distress; or the

prevention and relief of sickness, disease or human suffering. The direct benefits that flow from purpose 1 are to pre-empt and prevent or alleviate poverty, hardship, suffering and sickness. These benefits are demonstrated by feedback, statistics and reports from the supported initiatives and programmes. This feedback may be from local community representatives or from the relevant charity administering the project. No intentional harms are identified. The benefits are for the local population, in or with a particular area of need, anywhere worldwide. Private benefit may include better conditions for the local population, increased employment and raised standards of living - all of which would be intended benefits. 2. any other charitable organisations as the trustees from time to time may decide to support that promotes the benefit of those inhabitants who are in need of assistance as a result of their poverty or social and economic circumstances. The direct benefits that flow from purpose 2 is to provide more immediate assistance to alleviate and provide help as adverse circumstances arise - for example natural disasters. The benefits are demonstrated by feedback, statistics, and reports from the relevant situations in receipt of assistance. This may be from local community representatives or from the relevant charity co-ordinating the assistance. No intentional harms are identified. The benefit is for the local population, who are in need of assistance, anywhere worldwide. Private benefit may include the provision of essential supplies, housing and job creation - as part of the intended benefit.

What your organisation does

The Trust exclusively provides financial support to other U.K. based, bone fida and registered charitable organisations - such charities being chosen with the agreement of the trustees and fulfilling one or more of the aforementioned objects/purposes of the Trust. The Trust does not administer or distribute any funds directly to projects,

individuals, or areas of need - but rather supports other organisations financially in their programmes/operations/objects/purposes. The trust therefore, whilst operating exclusively through U.K. based charities, will be fulfilling its 'purposes' to the 'area of benefit' (i.e. worldwide) through these charities.
