Kilmaine Primary School PTA organises fundraising events that are open to the community. These take various forms, including Christmas and summer fairs and book sales. The PTA secures donations and funding from local and national donors and through activities such as bag packs. The PTA supports the School's efforts to provide enriching experiences
by funding visits by authors, theatre groups and other external parties. The funds raised by the PTA are donated to the School and used to purchase IT, music, sports and other equipment that cannot be purchased within the statutory budget. These activities enrich and further education for the pupils, reinforce School-home partnerships and add value to the community as a whole. The PTA also contributed to the purchase of a defibrillator of potential benefit to School staff, pupils, parents, guardians and local community members.
