Public benefits

Children and young people who benefit from this service will grow in self confidence, their mental health will improve, social skills will excel and children and young people will feel included in an organisation where they feel like they belong. We provide training to teachers and professionals where we explain the benefits of sensory in their

line of work. This then benefits the children and young people they come into contact with as then they know how to regulate a child/young person. We believe Sensory Kids helps people learn new skills within our activities, youth club and our Sports Academy which gives these children and young people a chance to meet new people and make new friends. Benefits have been identified by surveys we have carried out and word of mouth by our members who attend one to ones, constituted committee, groups, youth club, activities, schools and our Sports Academy. Also positive feedback received verbally from our members' families who have witnessed the benefits in their everyday life. There is no harm arising from the purpose of the organisation. The charity's beneficiaries are children and young people who have mental and physical disabilities, teachers, professionals and organisations who bring Sensory Kids in for sessions within Northern Ireland. No there is no private benefit flowing from any of the purposes.
