Public benefits

We will support refugees and immigrants to successfully integrate into our community. We anticipate that this will also benefit the community by providing greater diversity and greater awareness of other cultures. We wish to promote community sponsorship of refugees in Northern Ireland We will do this by encouraging the Executive and UK government

to open more schemes, working with other organisations to do so and offering practical support other groups to sponsor refugees. We will support the inclusion of refugees and immigrants in Northern Ireland by increasing opportunities and understanding of their needs and contribution to society by increasing availability of housing, education, training, appropriate health and social care and other activities ancillary to our goal.
