Public benefits

The direct benefits which flow from our purpose is that through attending Sunday Services, Bible Study meetings and other gatherings, the regular congregation along with any visitors, will get to know God in a deeper, fuller and personal way, personal growth in the Christian Faith. Comfort to the bereaved, the sick and elderly who receive

encouragement through visitation and prayer , the provision of religious education for children and young people, and the financial support for Missions and missionaries locally and in other parts of the world. These benefits are evidenced through verbal feedback to the Elders from individuals who have come into a closer relationship with God, through the Bible teaching and fellowship experienced and interest in missions shown by attendance and financial support given. There is no evidence of any direct harm arising from any of the purposes The regular congregation and all visitors The only private benefit flowing from this purpose is a salary for a Pastor, and this is necessary because he proclaims the purpose of our Church and attends to the needs of the congregation.

Charitable purposes

The Church acknowledges the headship of Jesus Christ over his Church and exists to glorify the triune God by maintaining and promoting his worship both individually and corporately. Its members devote themselves to the teachings of Scripture, to fellowship, breaking of bread, prayer and evangelism. They commit, with the help of God, to witness to the saving and sustaining power of the Lord Jesus Christ and to work for the extension of His Kingdom. The principal charitable object of the church is the advancement of the Christian faith according to the teachings of Scripture, the Doctrinal Statement and Baptist principles.
