Public benefits

The direct benefits flowing from our purposes are that the general public and local community of all ages are welcome to attend the worship services, children's meetings, youth, men's and women's activities. where at each of these there will be spiritual and social benefits received and all of these are without charge. The benefits are demonstrated

by the positive feedback from those attending our services and also the fact that many of all ages attend regularly and new people are being introduced as they are invited. We believe no harm or injury could result from the activities of our charity The beneficiaries are those who attend and are greatly helped from all that they experience by way of welcome, acceptance, friendship as well as spiritual and practical help. These benefits are experienced through teaching from the bible as well as friendships and practical help and support. The governing document allows for financial remuneration for pastoral responsibilities. This remuneration in this regard is incidental and necessary. All other aspects of the work within the church and those responsible for it is carried out on a voluntary basis.

What your organisation does

In Iron Hall Evangelical Church we operate an extensive and wide range of activities over the course of the year. These activities help us to carry out our purpose as a Christian church in our local community and beyond. These regular weekly meetings are advertised on our church notice board and on our web-site. They are as follows. Our Sunday

Services are welcoming occasions for all ages and included in them are opportunity to worship God in singing prayer and bible ministry and in hearing the good news of the gospel. There are special facilities for children of the younger age group and an age appropriate part in the family service for them. The Bible study on Monday evening is a public meeting and provides an opportunity to listen to the bible been taught in a meaningful and helpful manner at this gathering all ages attend and appreciate the opportunity to study the bible together. The gathering for children on Wednesday is very well attended where boys and girls are taught the bible and engage in singing quizzes and other activities which are greatly enjoyed and relevant to their age group. Mother’s and Toddlers on a Friday morning is provided free of charge and is a time for mum’s and toddlers from the local community to spend time together in a relaxed atmosphere. The activities for youth on Saturday evenings and the seniors on Wednesday provide age related activities and time for social and spiritual interaction as well as bible teaching, fellowship and prayer. The benefits received from these gatherings and other similar initiatives are clearly evidenced by the positive feedback and goodwill generated from many families who attend and others who express their appreciation.
