The direct benefits from our purposes are - The advancement of the arts, culture, heritage and science through enhanced public understanding of history and heritage of the Ulster and Irish Linen industry, and the lifestyle of those involved with it. - The advancement of education for the benefit of the local and wider communities by providing an
educational resource for children and adults. - The advancement of citizenship and Community development. Benefits will be demonstrated by • Noting the number of visitors to the exhibition, both those visiting incidentally whilst at Linen Green and those coming specifically in groups or as individuals. • Gathering and assessing feedback from visitors on their experience and learning – using a visitor’s book and evaluation cards, as well as social media feedback. • The level of involvement of the local community in the exhibition and in its use of the meeting space provided. • The level of involvement and interest from schools and other groups who visit, particularly through repeat visits. There is no harm that will arise out of the purposes of the organisation. The general public of all ages and backgrounds, by increasing their education through the information provided through the exhibition, through the general pubic benefit the preservation and promotion of history and heritage, and in particular the local community who will be able to engage through volunteering, researching and using the exhibition space for community events. No private benefit flows from the purposes.

• Providing an exhibition open to the public setting out the history of Moygashel Mills and the Irish Linen Industry, containing displays of old machinery and artefacts, photographs and display boards • Recovering, restoring, preserving and exhibiting historical items which represent important facets of the history and heritage being explained and
exhibited • Facilitating school visits • Providing opportunities for local people, especially those with direct or ancestral links to the Linen industry, to volunteer their services at the exhibition or in the preservation of items • Providing a space for use by community groups to encourage social cohesion and interaction
