Public benefits

The Direct Benefit is the provision of charitable donations to individuals who are studying in the Nursing, Midwifery and Health Visiting sector to study. The charitable donation will be forwarded to The Western Health and Social Care Trust who are undertaking the training to aid their applications and personal development. The individuals must

have proof that they are living and practicing in Northern Ireland and provide details of the hospitals they are working at. This will be reviewed by the committee at The Western Health and Social Care Trust and we will pay the Charitable Donation to the Trust. There is no harm from our purpose. The Charity’s beneficiaries at the Individuals studying Nursing, Midwifery and Health Care who live in Northern Ireland who receive the assistance of the scholarships. There is no private benefit from our purpose.

Charitable purposes

The purpose of the Scholarship shall be to enable members (to be selected from time to time by the Committee) of the Nursing or Midwifery professions who are resident in, being taught in or working in Northern Ireland or the Republic of Ireland, to study advances in the health and social care field and to pass on the benefit of such study to the public and the health and social care community.
