Public benefits
The direct benefits flowing from our organisation's purpose of "the advancement of citizenship and community development" include increasing inter-generational understanding, reducing social isolation, improving the quality of life and increasing community involvement of the residents of the West Winds Estate, Newtownards. The benefits identified
above are demonstrated by feedback from residents in the Estate and evaluation forms completed by programme participants. There is no harm arising from any of the purposes. The charity's beneficiaries are the residents of the West Winds Estate, Newtownards. The only private benefit flowing from our purpose in the knowledge gained from training such as Good Governance and first aid training. This is incidental and necessary as it allows us to work in a more effective and efficient manner.
