The benefits flowing from purpose 1, the advancement of community development and citizenship, include: reduced social isolation and improvement of the quality of life for residents and reduced levels of anti-social behaviour and mental ill health among those in need. The benefits flowing from purpose 2, the provision of education and training,
include: improved employability for residents, creation of new or enhanced skills and increased self-confidence among those in need. The benefits flowing from purpose 3, the prevention or relief of poverty, include: increased opportunities for those in need, improvement of the quality of life for residents, reduced social exclusion and improved access to social and private housing. The benefits from purpose 1 are demonstrated through attendance at activities such as our senior citizens luncheon clubs, feedback from beneficiaries, independent evaluations of our activities by monitoring and support services such as Supporting Communities. The benefits from purpose 2 are demonstrated through feedback from the local community,beneficiaries attending courses, evaluation of projects by tutors and awarding bodies and increased employment levels within the area. The benefits from purpose 3 are demonstrated through an increase in volunteers, feedback from the local community and visitors to the area, an increase of good quality social housing and a reported decrease in anti-social behaviour. Purpose one does not give rise to any harm. Purpose two does not give rise to any harm. Purpose three does not give rise to any harm. The beneficiaries of the charity for purposes 1,2 and 3 are; older people, men, volunteers, unemployed/low income residents, youth and adults who live within the area of benefit. There are no discernible private benefits arising from purpose 1. Private benefits to trustees from purpose 2 may arise from the trustee developing skills and experience through this training that may be transferrable to other settings There are no discernible private benefits arising from purpose 3.

Killynure Community Association provides educational, leisure and recreational activities and works proactively to tackle social, environmental and economic concerns within the Killynure area and work in partnership with voluntary, statutory and community organizations to improve the local area and create a safe and better place to live for all
residents. The group is working to provide community facilities, urban development and youth programmes within the area of benefit and actively regenerate the area following years of economic and social neglect.
