The direct benefits that flow from these purposes include: the increased recreational and educational opportunities provided to residents of this interface community, and the reduction in social isolation, increased social cohesion and social inclusion experienced by local residents due to the services provided by the Charity; the positive effect
the Charity's services have on the wellbeing of local residents, especially amongst vulnerable groups, older people, local children and their families. The opportunities provided to local residents living within an area of high economic disadvantage and multiple deprivation to learn work related skills and increase their employability; the regeneration to this interface location and improved community safety, and enhanced community relations resulting from the Charity's activities and the positive effects this has on the wellbeing of local residents living in an interface community. These benefits can be demonstrated from the feedback received from the local residents, surveys, and reports on the outcomes of projects, the Charity's annual accounts and the annual reports. There is no harm. The charity's beneficiaries are residents within the Twaddell Avenue and Upper Woodvale areas and their surroundings of North and West Belfast. The Charity employed staff but this is incidental and necessary to its provision of charitable services.

The Charity runs a community facility 'The Cabin' on Twaddell Avenue, Belfast from which it provides workshops, clubs, and educational and recreational classes and activities, and provides information advocacy and advice for local residents, children,senior citizens and families living within this interface location of North Belfast. As part of its
activities it runs the Woodvale Park Festival, a three-day annual festival of culture and music held within the Greater Shankill. The Charity assists local people who are unemployed or otherwise economically disadvantaged providing employability support including opportunities to gain work related training and qualifications and signposts residents in need to other local services and advice. The Charity undertakes activities to promote community safety and community relations within this interface location and actively contributes to projects which promote urban regeneration within the locality.
