The direct benefits flowing from the purposes include providing aid and life saving treatment to those in need, both by providing funds directly and through existing charitable organisations such as TEAR Fund, particularly in the wake of famine, pandemic or other natural disasters throughout the world, thereby increasing life expectancy and
enabling people and communities to thrive and prosper. Other benefits flowing from the purposes include benefitting older people by contributing to existing charitable organisations such as Age NI which allows those charitable bodies to continue providing advice and assistance to older people and their families and to increase those older peoples’ quality of life. The other benefit flowing from the purposes include helping to lift people and communities out of poverty both by providing funds directly and through existing charitable organisations such as TEAR Fund. The funds can take the form of either general aid or seed grants which allow the people and communities to prosper, increasing productivity, increasing life expectancy, growing the local economy and increasing the quality of life of the people in a sustainable way. A final benefit flowing from the purposes is benefitting people at home and abroad in a way which glorifies Jesus Christ and advocates Christian principles amongst the community, thereby promoting the adoption of a good moral framework and good citizenship amongst that community. This can be demonstrated through the saving of lives, increased prosperity and life expectancy, Increased quality of life. There is no harm arising from the purposes. The beneficiaries are existing charitable organisations including (but not limited to) those identified in the Second Schedule to the trust deed, Other charitable organisations or general charitable causes or individuals identified by the trustees from time to time. There is no private benefit.

The Talent Charitable Trust exists to promote the Christian faith both at home and abroad through various charitable, humanitarian and evangelical activities. Specifically, the trustees of the Talent Charitable Trust make regular distributions in favour of existing charitable organisations which fall within the ambit of the Trust's purposes. The
trustees also make ad hoc distributions in favour of worthy causes which have come to their attention and which also fall within the definition of the Trust's charitable purposes.
