The supported training unit will Increase the number of people with learning disabilities achieving accredited training and qualifications: improve employability opportunities of beneficiaries with the aim to enhanced the beneficiaries financial independence and social integration. The Association also runs a social enterprise which equips the
beneficiares with enhanced social skills, communication and great/wider community integration. These benefits can be demonstrated through feedback from parents, carers, guardians and beneficiaries. through multi-disaplinary reviews/evaluations of personal centred training programmes of each beneficiary in-conjunction with the relevant Health Trusts. through feedback from our annual open week. This information is also fed through the Association's Annual Report and Accounts. There is no harm that the Association can see that is likely to arise from our objects and purposes. The charity's beneficiaries are: Young people and Adults with Learning Disabilities and/or physical disabilities and/or Autistic Spectrum Disorders. Parents, Carers and Guardians A private benefit to Trustees may arise from any training the Trustees undertake in areas such as finance, public health/benefit training, good goverance etc; through this type of training the Trustees may gain skills and experience which are transferable to other settings. These benefits would be incidental and are necessary to ensure the benefit is provided to our beneficiaries.

The Bridge Association is a Company Limited by Guarantee which opporates a Vocational Work Based Educational Training Unit for young people and Adults with Learning Disabilities and/or physical disabilities and/or Autistic Spectrum Disorders; by providing accredited training opportunities in Catering, Retail, Horticulture/Propagation, Personal
Development, IT, Numeracy/Literacy. Although attention is focused primarily on the development of vocational work skills, we also offer a wide range of personal development programmes including health education/promotion, skills for life, recreational skills, social skills and confidence building measures.
