The Croom-Media Community Group is established to: 1.) To promote and preserve the culture and heritage of our Northern Irish/British tradition, with particular regard to the Armagh, Banbridge & Craigavon area and beyond; by the provision a Northern Irish /ABC Youth based Media enterprise (both Audio-Visual) and to be an Educational, Historical,

Cultural and Heritage resource; and 2.) To promote cultural confidences and civic pride, and bolster the morale of local Northern Irish/ABC youth and harness the talents of that community, with particular emphasis given towards disadvantaged youth. The direct benefits that flow from our purposes, include: building confidence and understanding of our cultural heritage and developing skills within young people, aged between 16 and 25 years, within the Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon area, which can be applied in employment and daily life. These benefits are evidenced through regular feedback from our beneficiaries, including surveys and case studies. The benefits are also be evidenced from Labour Force Survey Statistics. The charity beneficiaries are young people aged between 16 and 25 years. There is no harm flowing from any of the purposes. There are no private benefits that flow from our purposes.

What your organisation does

Croom-Media has a studio set up at Brownlow House, Lurgan, which includes relevant equipment for recording (audio and video), for the purposes of training in broadcasting. Croom-Media also has use of facilities in Brownlow House, Lurgan, for the purposes of delivering on our aims and objectives.
