What your organisation does

We run a Christian Educational camp in Portugal, run by volunteers, attended by Children and youths. Advancement of Christian faith This is achieved through our camps and through the training of young leaders. Our summer camps exist and find their purpose in the promotion & advancement of the Christian faith, through our talks and teaching

schedules and also our leaders as they seek to share their Christian experiences/life lessons with the children in their care. Overflow of our camps runs directly into our weekly youth program where the young people are taught from the bible and are encouraged to grow in their Christian faith. Young people also promote the Christian faith through the different events we stage here at the International Church. Advancement of education We are a strong believer in training leaders who will go on to impact their peers and communities. It is run each year alongside our “Leaders in Training Program” (LIT) which now runs in over 15 churches in NI. The programme seeks to encourage under 18s to use their talents to lead and be a good role model for the community, to use what they will learn to make a difference in the lives of the people and the culture in which they find themselves. We also promotes cross cultural relationships - many of our leaders come from many different backgrounds, and countries with over 10 different nationalities coming together during our activities Prevention and relief of poverty We work alongside organisations like Salvation Army to sponsor children who wouldn’t be able to attend due to financial difficulties. These kids come from poverty and difficult backgrounds. We create an atmosphere to grow their social skills We also work closely with 4 different orphanages, sponsoring youths from the local children’s homes with social/trust issues. We use our different events, and teaching programs in order to build up, encourage and equip them to see past their problems and situations and find purpose and significance
