The staff members provide practical assistance to our member groups as well as offering assistance with issues such as benefits, housing, anti-social behaviour and access to statutory services for local people. The Forum represents the people of Kilcooley on a range of steering groups involving statutory partners, local churches and service
providers. These steering groups include: Kilcooley Neighbourhood Renewal Partnership Education sub-group (chair) Health Task Force Early Intervention / Stronger Outcomes for Children Inter-agency Strategic Partnership (chair) Cross Community Work – Kilcooley Community Forum has a strong track record of engagement with groups from the nationalist community in sport, education and mutual understanding. The forum also runs a Community Education Hub providing free access to training and education in partnership with Ulster University and a range of external providers.
