The direct benefits are mutual understanding of different groups, communities, cultures and nationalities. The development of a responsible and responsive individuals. The maximisation of individual and group potential. Strengthening group and community cohesion. The provision of a combined effort to bring synergy to our labours and better results.

The establishment of good working practice and sustainable programmes. The establishment of future understanding, partnerships and sustainable working practices. These benefits are identified by enabling people to develop their faith & experience through 'Fun, Faith & Friendship' experiences and leadership training. Individuals are able to appreciate their own heritage and have a balanced understanding of the tradition and legacy of others. Individuals taking leadership positions in Faith, Community and Civic Groups. Individuals seeking further personal and academic training. Notable increased individual confidence, assurance and their ability to illustrate this by boldness in expressing their convictions. The expansion and development of existing programmes and provision of new projects. Greater and widespread involvement of individuals and groups within our programmes. Recurring involvement by individuals and groups in our programmes. There is potential misunderstanding of our motives which may lead to harm. This is unlikely occurrence, the benefit outweighs the harm. There may also be dangers arising from events and residentials. The benefit outweighs the harm, countered by Police Checks, Child & Vulnerable Person Training and an open organisational transparency and accountability environment. The beneficiaries are young people and adults across the age spectrum from different Christian, Community, Cultural and National groups. There is no private benefit”

What your organisation does

(i) provision of events, residentials and holidays for young people and adults within Northern Ireland, Great Britain, Republic of Ireland, and internationally. (ii) provision of fun experiences that includes training, peer learning and team building in a residential setting. (iii) by raising expectation and aspiration levels through example

and positive role models. Offering dynamic and life challenging experiences beyond each individuals normal experience. Offering programmes that develop leadership, maturity, strong friendships. (iv) developing working relationships with other organisations across the voluntary, statutory and commercial sectors. Offering seminars and training where appropriate. (v) facilitating Christians and other individuals to develop outside the confines of their own faith groups & across the denominational, cultural & national divide. (vi) facilitating regular events and holidays that bring people together from different countries. Encouraging social contact and friendships between people of difference. Bringing people of different life experience together. Providing opportunity for mentoring and pastoral care.

The purposes of Actively Transforming Youth and Community are: • To facilitate the proclamation and advance of the Gospel of Jesus Christ through practice and example, according to biblical principles, • To sponsor and promote interdenominational Christian work and understanding throughout the world, • To establish, assist and support individuals, organisations and activities for the promotion of Christian missionary, educational and evangelistic work, • To promote understanding among believers from different Christian & cultural backgrounds from various regions of conflict, to empower them to impact their respective communities,
