Public benefits

The direct benefits which flow from our purpose of advancement of religion, specifically the Christian Faith, are: - An improved sense of wellbeing and the spiritual, moral and intellectual development for those attending private retreats, group retreats and Christian conferences at Murlough House as they enjoy fellowship with others and receive

teaching from the Bible. - The promotion of Christian values for the benefit of individuals, with those using the various facilities available at Murlough House encouraged to adopt a moral framework where they are good citizens. The benefits are demonstrated through teaching the Word of God, the Bible, the moral improvement in society as a whole which religion is considered to encourage. The above benefits will be evidenced through feedback from those who use the Murlough House’s facilities. We do not anticipate that any harm will flow from any of the above purposes All those who choose to come and use the facilities The only private benefit flowing from our purposes are that a staff of three is employed by the organisation, a cook, a gardener and a cleaner. These positions are currently recognised through salaries which we believe are incidental as these positions are necessary to fulfil the organisation’s purposes.
