Public benefits

The direct benefits which flow from the purposes of Pert Rural Community Network are the advancement of education, providing people with new skills, building confidence and improving the health and well-being of the beneficiaries. We provide social and leisure activities which reduce low esteem, increase social inclusion and self confidence of

beneficiaries through participation in socially interactive activities. We provide educational classes and cultural activities which advance knowledge and appreciation of culture. These benefits will be evidenced through the numbers of people attending classes and events, people receiving certificates of achievement and through feedback from particiapants. Benefits are demonstrated through people becoming more engaged in the wider community and through people becoming more engaged in cultural activity. The beneficiaries are inhabitants of Aghavilly and its environs and the wider Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council area. There may be private benefit flowing from these purposes as beneficiaries receive new skills which may be transferable but these will be incidental and necessary. There is no harm flowing from the purposes.
