The direct benefits flowing from the purposes include: • Improved skills and employability of the groups and individuals engaged in learning • Reductions in isolation and alienation • Increased community cohesion (both cross-community and cross-cultural), co-operation, sense of belonging and opportunities for volunteering • Improved conditions in

the locality, such as resourcing or public services, through engagement with and ability to influence authorities • Reductions in crime or anti-social behaviour and a safer community • Improved health and social outcomes, including reductions in stress and anxiety or improved self-sufficiency among community members • Environmental improvements These benefits can be demonstrated by: • The number of jobs and work experience opportunities created • The numbers of those who have successfully completed training courses/gained an accredited and non-accredited qualification • The number of people participating in physical activity education and nutrition programme Evidence can also be found in evaluations and in surveys of living standards, feedback from residents and regular independent evaluation of our services. There are no harms flowing from the purposes. There is no harm arising from the purposes. The beneficiaries are the local community at large, in particular, men and women from disadvantaged groups who are without formal qualifications and are seeking to return to learning, young people from disadvantaged groups who are not in fulltime education or training. There are no private benefits to any unintended beneficiary – any which arise will always be either incidental or necessary to fulfil the purposes. There is no private benefit flowing from the purposes.

Deliver programmes to enhance the employability skills and prospects of people living in this community through educational initiatives, careers advice, extra curriculm actives, life skills, accredited and non-accredited learning, skills /personal development, work placement experience & and employment opportunities Delivering programmes that

promote cultural diversity, equality and inclusion Deliver educational Workshops on a range of topics to target the needs of the local community e.g. health & wellbeing, community safety, housing etc Deliver a range a diverse range of activities that promote community cohesion, increase physical health and participation and good mental health Prepare and collate research and statistics on deprivation in order to help set local priorities and plan effective collection action. Community participation - Use range of communication channels to invite/engage the wider community e.g. social media, door-to-door distribution of flyers/leaflets, notice boards, word of mouth, volunteer opportunities, helping out at their local community centre, community events and extended programme of activities

Charitable purposes

The promotion for the public benefit of Community Development in the Annadale, Haywood and surrounding areas (the “area of benefit”), being an area of social and economic deprivation, by any exclusively charitable means including (but not limited to); ? The provision, or assistance in the provision, of education, training and skill development; ? Assisting in the relief of community needs such as disadvantage, poverty or unemployment; ? The promotion of equality and diversity; ? The promotion of physical and mental health and well-being; ? The encouragement of community participation amongst marginalised or excluded groups ? The establishment, maintenance or management of a community centre for activities promoted by the charity in furtherance of the above objects.
