the locality, such as resourcing or public services, through engagement with and ability to influence authorities • Reductions in crime or anti-social behaviour and a safer community • Improved health and social outcomes, including reductions in stress and anxiety or improved self-sufficiency among community members • Environmental improvements These benefits can be demonstrated by: • The number of jobs and work experience opportunities created • The numbers of those who have successfully completed training courses/gained an accredited and non-accredited qualification • The number of people participating in physical activity education and nutrition programme Evidence can also be found in evaluations and in surveys of living standards, feedback from residents and regular independent evaluation of our services. There are no harms flowing from the purposes. There is no harm arising from the purposes. The beneficiaries are the local community at large, in particular, men and women from disadvantaged groups who are without formal qualifications and are seeking to return to learning, young people from disadvantaged groups who are not in fulltime education or training. There are no private benefits to any unintended beneficiary – any which arise will always be either incidental or necessary to fulfil the purposes.
