The direct benefits flowing from our purpose include: learners gain qualifications and practical skills, learners gain confidence and self worth, enabling them to move forward into further or higher education, learners are better equipped to move into paid employment therefore increasing their economic security. These benefits can be identified

by the number of learners that have been registered with the organisation since its inception in 1981. The number of learners that have achieved nationally recognised qualifications as well as the number of learners that have gone into permanent employment. There is no harm or possibility of harm flowing from the purposes of BCW Training Ltd. Our beneficiaries are learners who have not benefited from the educational system, for example learners that were working at lower educational levels and learners with no formal qualifications, young offenders who have been in an offender institution, learners who are not in education or employment. There is no private benefit flowing from the purpose of BCW Training Ltd.

What your organisation does

BCW Training Ltd deliver training and qualifications to National Standards to adults and school leavers in the Causeway Coast and Glens area through the Training for Success and ApprenticeshipsNI programmes. We deliver weekly in-house directed training in the vocational areas and Essential Skills detailed above. We also liaise with employers in

the area to provide work placement opportunities to enable learners to develop their employability skills.
