The direct benefits which flow from financially assisting people through the emotional and lifestyle effects of cancer treatment include : Cancer patients are better able to cope with the emotional challenges of their treatment Cancer patients feel good about themselves whilst going through their treatment Cancer patients are able to focus on

the positive side of life whilst going through their treatment The benefits identified can be demonstrated by : The number and geographic spread of people taking up the support offered by the Charity Feedback directly from the beneficiaries Feedback from their families Feedback from medical and caring staff There is no harm flowing from our purposes. People who are dealing with the emotional and lifestyle effects of their cancer treatment . The trustees and volunteers gain experience and skills that are transferable to other settings but this is incidental and necessary in ensuring the benefits above are delivered.

What your organisation does

The charity accepts and considers applications for assistance from people experiencing the emotional and lifestyle effects of cancer treatment responding ,where appropriate , by helping with the cost of such things as a wig, eyebrow embroidery ,complementary therapies or by providing access and referral to qualified counselling services .

Charitable purposes

To financially assist people through the emotional and lifestyle effects of cancer treatment. This assistance is limited to: • Help towards the cost of counselling. • Help towards the costs of wigs and eyebrow therapy. • Help towards the costs of complementary therapies. • Help towards the costs of other services may be provided at the discretion of the charity.
