What are the direct benefits flowing from your organisation's purposes? The direct benefits which flow from these purposes are to ethnic communities in Africa formerly in conflict and who will now be working together in partnership in an environment free from violence, where cooperation and dialogue between tribes can continue to be

developed. The organisation will work to deliver inter-ethnic public facilities including schools, medical centres and water project with communities formerly in conflict working together in these facilities. Eleswhere in the world, the direct benefit which flows is for individuals and groups learning from successful conflict resolution programmes in Africa and using proven techniques and methodologies to achieve peace in their own region. How can the benefits identified above be demonstrated? The benefits can be demonstrated through reduction in community violence and an increase in co-operation between ethnic communities in Africa. The physical provision and increased use of inter-ethnic facilities and their use by tribes from all parts of the community will demonstrate the successful achievement of the organisation’s purposes. The organisation will collate quantitative and qualitative data on the organisation’s charitable activities, participation and attendance by tribal groups at events and workshops, use of inter-ethnic facilities; there shall be regular reporting of data collected in the organisation’s newsletters and its annual reports. Is there any harm arising from any of the purposes? There is no harm arising from any of the purposes. Who are the charity's beneficiaries? The charity’s beneficiaries are communities in Africa, especially in Eastern Africa, particularly Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, South Sudan, Ethiopia, and Somalia. the charity will share its learning outcomes from its work on conflict resolution with other societies in conflict around the world. Is there any private benefit flowing from any of the purposes? Is it incidental and necessary? There is no private benefit flowing from any of the purposes.

What your organisation does

SCCRR’s successful model blends intensive peace training, answering human needs and advocating for institutional reforms. The organization holds workshops, trains local leaders in conflict resolution, and facilitates sustainable human development in areas historically troubled by violence.
