The Direct benefits flowing from our purposes are - (1) Provision of a place for gathered worship.- (2) Care to the local Christian members through ministry and visitation. (3) Provision of ordinances and services (4) Provision of a biblical moral frame work to encourage good citizenship. Indirect benefits - (1)Well kept building in the community.
(2)opportunities for residents / general public to worship and find help in their lives in times of need.(3) Care extended to others by the church and by those that attend.(4) Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ spread by its members living godly lives in their homes. Wider benefits (1) Society benefits from having godly workers (2) Fellowship / encouragement with other believers of like persuasion within N. Ireland and further abroad. The benefits identified above can demonstrated by improved behaviour as a result of being involved in an act of public worship. Well taught Christian members who are able to explain and defend their beliefs. There is no harm arising from the purposes of Larne Evangelical Church. The churches beneficiaries are (a) Its members. (b) The local community / general public ( men, women , youth and children who attend and will attend in the future. ) (c) Those with needs - material, physical and spiritual of whom the church becomes aware. The Pastor receives a stipend to cover basic travel and living needs and receives an occasional gift to cover expenses. - This is incidental and necessary for him to be able to supply the services required by the church.

Larne Evangelical Church exists for the charitable purpose of the advancement of the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and Christian Religion, according to the Bible, in the district of Larne, Co Antrim. In doing so it aims to benefit that community by providing a place for (a) The worship of the one true living God (b) the proclamation of the gospel
of the Lord Jesus Christ (c) For members to pray. (d) To offer care / help to the community through the various evangelical outreaching activities. We therefore seek to encourage and motivate people to live godly, moral, honest, upright and useful lives in the community. we seek to do so by - Displaying our times of worship and prayer meetings.- By visitations. - The distribution of literature.- Outreaching in the community,prayer, worship. By offering to its members the ordinances in accordance with the word of God. (the Bible) and to a wider community, counselling and services in accordance with the word of God.
