Public benefits

Our parents and children come from all backgrounds but all live in a quite isolated area. The purpose of our group is to provide educational opportunities to all regardless of gender, religion, ethnicity or disability in order that any disadvantage experienced is mitigated. Attendance continues to be very steady with 34 children registered. We

issue anonymous surveys at the beginning and year end to ascertain parental/guardian views on the impact of the group activities and outings on their children. There is no harm attached to the purposes of the Group. The parents and children who attend the group. No private benefit other than the enhancement of educational opportunities for the children and parents of our group.

What your organisation does

The Group provides appropriate play facilities and activities to develop the cognitive and interactive skills of the children attending the Group. It also provides a facility for guardians/parents, many of whom live in isolated areas, to discuss parental issues of concern to them and to get advice from professional bodies about, for example,

healthy eating, dental care etc.

Charitable purposes

THE AIM OF THE GROUP IS TO ENHANCE THE DEVELOPMENT AND EDUCATION OF CHILDREN (0-4 YEAR OLDS) BY ENCOURAGING PARENTS/GUARDIANS TO UNDERSTAND AND PROVIDE FOR THE NEEDS OF THEIR CHILDREN BY: a) OFFERING APPROPRIATE PLAY FACILITIES, WITH THE RIGHT OF PARENTS/GUARDIANS TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR AND TO BECOME INVOLVED IN THE ACTIVITIES OF THE GROUP, ENSURING THAT THE GROUP OFFERS OPPORTUNITIES FOR ALL CHILDREN, REGARDLESS OF RELIGION, CULTURE, RACE AND MEANS. b) ENCOURAGING THE STUDY OF THE NEEDS OF SUCH CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES AND PROMOTING PUBLIC INTEREST IN AND RECOGNITION OF SUCH NEEDS OF SUCH CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES IN THE LOCAL AREA. c) SUPPORT THE VALUES AND PRINCIPLES OF EARLY YEARS. D) TO PROMOTE THE EDUCATION AND WELL BEING OF PARENTS WHO ARE CONNECTED TO THE GROUP BY RUNNING APPROPRIATE COURSE.
