Public benefits

The direct benefits are primarily for those attending the Convention as they absorb the Bible’s practical and relevant teaching about all aspects of life from the individual’s relationship to God through the personal life challenges which all face to the contribution which the Bible-based life should make to the wider society. The Convention

intends that the week of teaching should have practical outcomes and so encourages those attending to live out what they have heard, bringing benefit to a widening circle of individuals and communities. Other direct benefits come when attendees have gone overseas to work in activities such as health, education, agriculture and social relief in disadvantaged parts of the world to bring help to needy communities. The best practical measure of achievement is in the number of people who attend throughout the week and return every year. Feedback is sought and given as to the benefit people have received through the work of Keswick at Portstewart. There is no harm arising from any of the purposes The beneficiaries are all who would attend the meetings of Keswick at Portstewart and those with whom they would come into contact in everyday life. Nobody who attends would benefit in a financial way. The is no private benefit to anyone associated with Keswick at Portstewart.
