Sliabh Beagh Arts work with 13 community groups who reside within or near the 'Sliabh Beagh' mountain straddling the border between the counties of Fermanagh (South East), Tyrone (South East) and Monaghan (North West). The overarching aim for S.B.A is the development and implementation of a series of community arts programmes which address the
social, creative, economic, cultural, environmental and good relations needs within a border region that has been disadvantaged due to isolation, social deprivation, lack of facility / activity and poor community relations. We are dedicated to providing high quality arts activity, promoting the use of creativeness as a means of enriching the lives of the rural communities involved. Through our programmes we aim to promote the importance of our physical and personal environment and challenge the bindings, which have occurred as a result of poor infrastructure. All of our projects are innovative and we try to bring something special to the area every year. Our programme engages with a wide variety of people and helps promote good practice and positive outcomes. It highlights and celebrates the diversity and potential of the communities involved.
