benefits that flow from this purpose are increased confidence, increased support from appropriate agencies and reduction of risk from abuse Purpose 4: The direct benefits that flow from this purpose are increased knowledge and awareness for victims and wider community and increased confidence in responding to risk. Purpose 5: The direct benefits that flow from this purpose are increased knowledge, confidence, self-esteem and reduction of isolation for victims and increased ability to improve services to victims for external agencies. Purpose 6: The direct benefits that flow from this purpose are the increased knowledge, confidence and independence of victims and the increased knowledge within the wider community. Purpose 7:The direct benefits that flow from this purpose are the ability to respond to new and emerging need and ensure advocacy/support for victims in these circumstances. The benefits identified can be demonstrated as follows: Purpose 1: Numbers of women and children residing in refuge. Purpose 2: Numbers of services delivered in the community and corresponding numbers of women and children who receive support through these. Purpose 3: Numbers of referrals received (self and from external agencies) uptake of services and all signposting and direct referrals to external agencies. Purpose 4 : Numbers of training and awareness sessions delivered. Purpose 5 : Numbers of training and awareness sessions delivered, numbers of service users accessing training and evaluations of same. Purpose 6 : Numbers of women and children accessing services, numbers of women supported to access civil and criminal justice system. Purpose 7 : Developments such as provision of an emergency fund through OFMDFM to meet the needs of service users in particular financial distress inclusive of those with no recourse to public funds. There is no harm arising from our purposes. Our beneficiaries are women and children who have or are experiencing domestic, sexual and gender based violence and abuse. There is no private benefit arising from our purposes.
