Public benefits
The direct benefits which flow from our organisation's purpose include the promotion and development of cohesive and confident communities in Northern Ireland as well as empowered and creatively engaged individuals. These benefits are evidenced through participant surveys, detailed feedback sessions, and continued engagement with the communities
and individuals.  No. The charity’s beneficiaries are the general public in Northern Ireland. The only private benefit flowing from this purpose is that artists and musicians who take part in projects gain exposure to a wider audience and this is incidental and necessary to help the charity achieve its charitable purpose.

Northern Lights Project was founded with the aim of creating innovative, engaging and challenging music-based performances at the intersection of music, theatre and technology. In our work we explore issues surrounding cultural identity, tradition, multiculturalism, as well as engaging in a search for creative ways to conceptualise the impending
ecological crisis and motivate localised responses to it. Our societal mission is to be at the forefront of the development of cohesive and confident communities in Northern Ireland as well as empowered and creatively engaged individuals, through the joint creation of music-based arts projects.
