The Belfast Martial arts club provides a community hub in Belfast aimed to build cross community relations to advance opportunities to people from vulnerable areas, to help relieve the community of crime, drinking and drug abuse for public benefit. To promote community health, fitness and wellbeing. To advance community safety teaching
self-defence for public benefit. The benefits are demonstrated through member feedback, community praise, referrals from members and parents on how the club is making a massive difference to the community. As with any sport where there is contact there is a risk of harm however the club has specialised matted area and padded walls and is fully insured for these activities. The club beneficiaries are people over 16yrs old, both males and females, from any religious background from the Belfast area but open to members from all around N.Ireland. There is no private benefit flowing from the purpose.

The organisation converted offices to a purpose built fitness and martial arts centre to use as a community hub and brought in volunteer coaches specialising in self defence, martial arts and fitness training.
