Public benefits

Reduced isolation and anxiety among older people within the village and surrounding area Increased Knowledge and opportunity to learn new skills Improvements to the services and facilities of our beneficiaries Better informed residents In the area isolation has reduced due to the activities we provide with older people attending activities such as

weekly events and outings. We also try to provide information to help to make local residents healthier and be able to access various services such as walking outings. The kinship that is formed through our members meeting regularly provides the only outlet that some have to socialise. A number of local residents have attended different courses such as digital inclusion, flower arranging and craft classes. Such courses have helped local people to develop a desire to continue to learn among some. The speakers we get in to talk provide information on crime prevention, health and well being, etc which give beneficiaries information to make more informed choices. We have carried out projects with young people which has reduced ASB and developed better relationships with older residents. There is no harm arising from the purposes. Inhabitants of Stewartstown and district There is no private benefit from any of the purposes.
