Public benefits

The direct benefit is the improvement of emotional and mental health of those attending seminars. Churches, missionary societies, outreach organisations, mental health groups and

individuals. It is not anticipated that any private benefit will arise.

What your organisation does

The charity operates a centre known as "Glenada" which provides an educational recreation conference and holiday centre. The centre supports a number of organisations including churches, missionary societies, outreach organisations, mental health groups and other charities. The centre is open to people of all ages and all sectors of society. The

benefit flowing from this is that it provides facilities to these organisations who in turn provide improvement of spiritual, mental and emotional welfare to people across Northern Ireland, the island of Ireland and internationally. The centre also provides an opportunity for people who may otherwise be marginalised and lonely within society to meet with others others and receive encouragement and support. The centre is distinctive as it can provide exclusive occupation to charities who need a safe and supportive residential retreat. Furthermore, seeks to play a role in the support of young people and organisations in Newcastle and the surrounding area. The benefit flowing from this is the improvement of emotional and mental health of those attending.
