The direct benefits flowing from the organisations purpose is increased engagement with the local community, reducing rural isolation, increasing capacity and skill of staff and local volunteers, and the provision of a wide range of services for all age groups. The benefits can be demonstrated through the feedback that is gathered from the service
users, results from the local community survey and through government statistics of the area. There is also annual reports required by council as part of the partnership agreement negotiated between the relative parties. We believe there is no harm arising from any of the purposes. The charities beneficiaries are the local people of Lettershandoney and people from the surrounding communities of rural Derry and Derry city. There are no private benefits flowing from our organisation.

Our group focuses on the development of the areas of physical infrastructure and services, and have ambitions to develop a healthy living centre to deliver and provide access to health and well being services that enhance the quality of life for people in the area. We currently provide welfare rights advice, housing advice, training and employment
advice, rural kitchen project catering for the elderly, youth club, youth intervention service across all of rural Derry, mens and womens circuit classes, yoga, listening ear and counselling services, community lobbying and advocacy provision, drop in centre, community safety meetings, venue hire, seasonal community events, management of local council facility, stay and play groups, dance classes, environmental clean ups.
