The beneficiaries of the charity are the rural inhabitants living in the rural areas of County Down and its hinterland A private benefit to trustees may arise from participating in activities. CDRCN is a network organisation providing support and advice to voluntary and community organisations helping groups in their development, across County Down. We act as a voice for rural dwellers supporting and enabling a strong community voice enabling communities to participate in decision making on policies which affect the rural area. We work
to assess the needs of rural dwellers and work in partnership to build and develop programmes and initiatives needed to meet those needs themed around rural development, anti-poverty, neighbourhood renewal, health, well-being, and maximizing access to services vital to rural life for the benefit of rural communities across County Down.
