Public benefits

The direct benefits flowing from the organisation's purposes are to advance education in a playgroup and pre-school setting and prepare the children for transition for primary school. The benefits identified can be demonstrated through the numbers attending the playgroup and pre-school and the fact that there are waiting lists for places. The

purposes of our charity may lead to the following harm: risk of injury of our children, parents or other visitors whilst on the premises. We can show that this harm is outweighed by the benefits through effective and regular training of staff, maintaining pupil to staff rations and the provision of risk assessments. The charity's beneficiaries are the children and parents of Ballinderry. The only private benefits flowing from this purpose are: staff salaries (which are not out of sync. with the organisation), out of pocket expenses and rental to building owners. This is incidental and necessary in order to maintain the service.
