Public benefits

Kidzone Preschool Playgroup provides a public benefit to the children who attend our preschool and their families. Our aim at Kidzone Preschool Playgroup is to advance the education and development of preschool children who attend so they can reach their full potential by learning through creativity, imagination and play. The direct benefit that

flows from this purpose includes nurturing and developing each child’s learning through our specific programme that is in line with the NI Preschool Curriculum and building on; self-esteem, confidence, social skills, early mathematical skills, listening skills, language development and skills, physical development, expressing feelings and ideas, enhancing imagination and being independent through play. We recognise parents/carers as a child’s first educators, therefore we always work in partnership with parents and strive to take on parent’s views and suggestions in relation to their child’s experiences whilst at Kidzone Preschool Playgroup, to enhance each individual child’s learning and development. Kidzone Preschool staff are all Early Years trained and have training in child protection, first aid, food hygiene, working with children with additional needs and can adapt to any situation that may arise to ensure that all children and their families are receiving the best possible education and care. We demonstrate each child’s development by staff observations, individual care plans, monitoring interactions with peers, parent/teacher interviews and have regular inspections by Early Years. There is no private benefit or harm flowing from the purpose of our organisation. The beneficiaries of Kidzone Preschool Playgroup are children aged between two years ten months and five years and their families. We provide equality of opportunity for all children and families, regardless of ability, religion, culture, gender, ethnic origin. A direct benefit of this is that all children learn to have a sense of belonging, to treat everyone equally and develop friendships with children from various different backgrounds and religions.
