Public benefits
The direct benefits flowing from the organisation's purposes are the training of Ministers and Student Ministers to enable the promotion of religion to the wider community. Student ministers on completion of their training apply to their Presbytery to be licenced for ministry at which point they can then be called by a congregation to serve as
their Minister. Ongoing training of Ministers enables them to be properly equipped to continue serving the community. There is no harm arising from any of the purposes. The charity's beneficiaries are Ministers and Student Ministers, congregations within the denomination who appoint the trained Ministers to serve them on an ongoing basis. There is no private benefit flowing from any of the purposes.
