The benefits that flow from Crow's Nest Community Playgroup's purpose are high quality pre-school education for 3 & 4 year olds. Greater skills development in preparation for starting primary school, and better support for children with learning difficulties moving into primary education. These benefits are evidenced through, reports from the
Early Years Advisor (external) Parents, Playgroup staff and Primary school foundation teachers. Reports from Social Services Annual Inspection, Reports from Early Years Supervisor. DENI Inspection reports. There is no harm arising from the organisation's purposes. The charities beneficiaries are: The children Their carers The local Primary school The wider community A private benefit may occur as from time to time we provide training to our employees and our trustees to ensure they are compliant with the law around child protection and responsibilities of committee members. This training may mean that it makes the person more employable in other areas but this is necessary for safe running of the organisation. Children of employees and committee members may attend playgroup but are given no preference through selection or activities than any other child not related. Any potential benefit is closely scrutinized and will only be allowable when reaching our charitable aims.

The Playgroup offers daily sessions from 8.45 to 11.45. to children in their preschool year. The children are supervised by well qualified , highly motivated staff. The children are carefully monitored during play sessions through observations and their learning experiences tailored to meet their needs. In addition we run short afternoon sessions
for pre-pre schoolers to prepare them for the year ahead. Public Benefit 1. To Promote play based learning for all children under statutory school age. 2. To Encourage parents/carers to become involved in the activities of our group. 3. To promote the preservation of good health to the beneficiaries, through healthy break, good hygiene practices and frequent outdoor play. 4.To support the values and vision of Early Years. 5. To advance any other exclusively charitable purpose as the directors dictate.
