Public benefits
Direct benefits flowing from the purposes of Giving (Northern Ireland) are: - Education within the sector through the sponsorship and publication of research into the charity and third sector. - An increase in charitable giving and growth of charitable donations and the growth of charitable giving and the relief of poverty and promotion of
health. - Provision of relief to many members of the public by the growth of charitable donations. - Improved knowledge of charitable giving by educating and linking charities. The benefits identified above can be demonstrated by through the increase in charitable giving and growth of charitable donations generally or increase of knowledge of the charitable sector which will be demonstrated through feedback from charities and/or the beneficiaries of those charities and, in addition, through the research which Giving (NI) carries out showing that charities have become more efficient as a result of the education which has been provided. There is no harm arising from any of the purposes. Beneficiaries of Giving (NI) are recognised charities and the beneficiaries of those charities and thereby the public. There is no private benefit arising from any of the purposes.

The objects ("the Objects") for which the Company is established are to:- - educate, inform and advise those who work for or with charities and voluntary organisations, in order to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of charities and the application of charitable resources; - educate the public as to the efficiency and effectiveness in supporting charities and charitable resources generally and charitable objectives; subject in each case to the exercise of such Objects being wholly and exclusively charitable.
