The direct benefits flowing from purpose (4) include: greater knowledge of community need in relation to community development, urban regeneration, health and education – leading to opportunities to make improvements for local communities. The direct benefits flowing from purpose (5) include: improved community relations, equality of opportunity, and community cohesion. The direct benefits flowing from purpose (6) include: any other public benefits that may flow other exclusively charitable purposes for the benefit of communities in East Belfast. The benefits can be evidenced through feedback from beneficiaries, impact assessment tools, government statistics and annual reports. We believe that these purposes will lead to no clearly identified harm. The charity's beneficiaries are the community and voluntary sector and general public of East Belfast. There may be private benefits from the provision of training and support, but these benefits would be incidental and necessary to ensure the benefit is provided to our beneficiaries.

We work with other key organisations to ensure the continued development of a community sector in East Belfast that is recognised, valued and effective.
