Public benefits

The Anthony Cowdy Trust Fund provides grants to local and national charitable organisations in all instances in accordance with the purposes of the Trust Fund. All grants are awarded on the basis of evidence that the funding will have a positive impact on the beneficiaries. The direct benefit to all of the beneficiaries is the increased

availability of funds to assist charities to fulfil their charitable objectives for example: The advancement of education of schoolchildren aged between sixteen and nineteen in Northern Ireland: Grants to individuals and organisations will enable local schoolchildren and young adults to access training and skills to develop their learning and improve their employment prospects. The relief of those in need by reason of youth, age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage: Grants to individuals and organisations will enable beneficiaries to access support and activities which address their needs, thus reducing their isolation, improving their social inclusion and well-being. The above benefits shall be demonstrated through research, feedback and evaluations taken from donors, funders and grantees and the general community. The Anthony Cowdy Trust Fund beneficiaries are people living in Northern Ireland and also people living outside Northern Ireland. There is no harm or potential for harm as a result of our purposes. There are no private benefits to trustees.
