Purpose - To promote the benefit of the inhabitants of, primarily, West Belfast without distinction of gender, sexual orientation, marital status, religious belief or political opinion, nationality, age, race or disability, by associating together the said inhabitants and the local authorities, voluntary and other organisations in a common effort
to advance and provide facilities in the interests of social welfare with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants. The direct benefits that flow from this purpose is developing and achieving noticeable improvement in health outcome and creating a safer environment for all. CCS public benefit statement outlines our commitment as an organisation to work vigorously to challenge the causes and conditions that have created the social, economic and welfare problems that exist enhancing the quality of life through our range of services for this community. These benefits are evidenced through the feedback we receive from our clients. The direct benefits are also evidenced through client feedback/questionnaires and regular evaluation of services. Our services involves the provision of one-to-one therapeutic counselling and welfare advice. We provide home visitation to the housebound which aim to further our charitable purposes for the public benefit. Our counselling service through a safe therapeutic environment, provides professional help for those suffering and experiencing mental health problems. We provide support for those dealing with their experiences and help to empower participants to make personal changes required to reach their potential through the healing of past events. CCS offers free independent confidential advice on all aspects of the welfare system either at our centre or home visitation. Our clients include those most disadvantaged particularly, disabled, and older people. There is no private benefit flowing from the purpose of CCS. Our purpose is beneficial, not harmful. It is likely there will be no harm flowing from our purposes. Beneficiaries of CCS are those most vulnerable members of our community.

The Company's objects are to promote the benefit of the inhabitants of, primarily, West Belfast (hereinafter called the "the area of benefit") without distinction of gender, sexual orientation, marital status, religious belief or political opinion, nationality, age, race or disability, by associating together the said inhabitants and the local authorities, voluntary and other organisations in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure-time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.
