Purpose 1) THE ADVANCEMENT OF RELIGION & EDUCATION: The direct benefits which flow from purpose 1 include a stronger faith for those attending the churches. This can often translate into improved family and community relationships. The education programs build academic attainment, improve job prospects, self-esteem and self-worth. Purpose 2)
THE RELIEF OF THOSE IN NEED: The direct benefits which flow from purpose 2 include an approved quality of life for abused women, safety for potential victims, an improved family dynamic and an informed attitude to sexual health. Purpose 3) THE PREVENTION OR RELIEF OF POVERTY: The direct benefits which flow from purpose 3 include the ability for families to have food and everyday essentials. Through the Shoebox ministry, disadvantaged parents have gifts for their children at Christmas, alongside the joy/self-worth provided to recipients. Hygiene, clothing and educational products feature in the shoeboxes. The direct benefits of purpose 1 are demonstrated through the purchasing of a community church building in each of the three villages for all the relevant programs. The charity has also purchased vehicles to help transport children to and from school. The direct benefits of purpose 2 are demonstrated through the provision of an informal counselling service, one to one mentoring, sexual health advice and child nutrition awareness. The church buildings are also used as an informal short term refuge accommodation centre for women suffering domestic abuse. The direct benefits of purpose 3 are demonstrated through a weekly food service and winter fuel support. A central aspect of the charity is also the annual shipment of Christmas shoe boxes distributed from the churches to vulnerable families of all backgrounds and religions. These are filled in Northern Ireland. These activities will bring no harm to the beneficiaries. The beneficiaries of purpose 1 are firstly, all attendants of the church congregation who meet regularly to gain help in understanding the Christian Gospel and its application to daily life. Secondly, children aged 4 – 11 benefit from the educational support that the church provides in the form of after school homework clubs and transport assistance to and from school. The beneficiaries of purpose 2 are the people of Timis county, specifically the villages of Giarmata, Bencecu and Cerneteaz. In particular, those most vulnerable in these villages, predominately children from 4 – 18 and women with domestic abuse issues from the Romney Travelling Community . These people gain access to a consistent support structure. The direct beneficiaries of purpose 3 are, as above, the people of Timis county. In particular, those most vulnerable in these villages, specifically children from 4 – 18 and families predominately (but not exclusivity) from the Romney community. None of the above activities bring any private benefit to the charity or to the trustees. The beneficiaries are solely those outlined above, namely the communities in Timis county, Romania.

The aims of the charity are to provide practical and spiritual aid to the disadvantaged people of the Timis county region in eastern Romania, predominately within the villages of Giarmata, Bencecu and Cerneteaz. The primary objects of the charity are to support through practical and financial means the improvement of life in areas of education,
poverty and general health for people of all ages, culture, religion or orientation: a) THE ADVANCEMENT OF RELIGION & EDUCATION: To provide a service of education, firstly in spiritual study through a church program in each of the three villages. This is in the understanding of the Christian Gospel and its application to daily life. Secondly, the charity financially supports a range of informal initiatives to aid the existing formal education structure, such as transport and sexual health. Again these are based and operated from the community church in each of the villages. b) THE RELIEF OF THOSE IN NEED: To provide an informal program to improve general health through an informal counselling service, emotional support for vulnerable individuals and short term refuge accommodation were necessary. This is based at the community church in each of the three villages. c) THE PREVENTION OR RELIEF OF POVERTY: To provide a program to alleviate some of the poverty in this specific region, through food banks and distribution of essential goods.
