Public benefits

We encourage the members of the congregation to search the purposes to secure their instruction and guidance. We encourage all members to be good moral citizens and extend this practice out into the wider community. We extend this experience to the wider community of Ballee and Lecale enabling others to embrace the work of Christ. The Christian

life is brought into people's life's through our Sunday school and Sunday services, enabling more people to lead a fulfilled and satisfying life. We promote community cohesion through our pastoral activities, linked to our hospital and home visits. Care is given to all sections of the community such as the elderly, lonely and vulnerable, enabling them to remain or become better integrated into the community. We have links with primary schools and other denominations in the area which strengthens relationships across the community. We support charities within our denomination and wider community extending compassion beyond our own community. Our Church Hall is perceived as the hub of the local community with many cross community groups using it for recreational and other purposes. The hall gives the opportunity to people from all walks of life to come together to enjoy new experiences in a secure environment. The whole community and beyond benefits from the presence of the hall. We receive very positive feedback regarding the use of the hall. Non members approach the Church with marriage and christening requests. They approach our Church because it Is known across the community for its liberal thinking. The established Church congregation work effectively together supporting each other in their daily lives, extending this support into the local community. The lives of many are enhanced through contact with the Minister, elders and individual members of the Church. It is not believed that any harm is caused by or flows from our purposes. Our beneficiaries are members of the congregation and the wider community in general. The Minister is employed by the congregation and he is paid for his services. This employment is crucial to the successful purpose of the Church. A fee is also paid to the Church Organist and Sexton. These roles are necessary to enable the Church to operate effectively and ensures our purposes are met.
