Public benefits

1.Communicating the gospel of Jesus Christ to the general public results in personal faith in Him and in changed lives, lived in a law abiding, moral and godly manner, with eternal security, reduced anxiety & stress. 2. Through church facilities, public services for communion, prayer & bible teaching and activities we seek to meet the spiritual,

physical, emotional and pastoral needs of various age groups in a church or mission context in the Belfast Council area. 3. The rented property provides a comfortable facility for people of the community to meet each other for coffee, chat & discuss problems with church members. Craft, cookery classes, twice monthly youth club, weekly bible club for children. Church functions include a monthly supper for elderly people, ladies meeting, weekly cross-community art group. 4.Christian giving to relieve poverty for local and overseas needs, refugee situations or natural disasters, supporting education projects in developing countries. purposes 1 -3. through informal feedback from church members, those who attend activities, their families and the community in which we serve. 4. . These benefits are evidenced by reports from those organisations in receipt of support, or visits by church members or those known to the church. Purposes 1-3 there is no harm arising from these benefits. 4. Possible harm may be in developing reliance among individuals to depend on external support. However, this is mitigated by relying on experienced contacts to allocate specific gifts. 1. the general public, 2 in the Belfast Council area. 3. a neighbouring housing estate. 4. Uk, R of I and abroad. (See public Benefits document attached for fuller information) The trustees gain personally from the charity but only in the same way that any other member of the public may do, there is no monetary gain and there is no private benefit.
