Public benefits

The direct benefits which flows from this purpose is that of improved health(Mental Health & Emotional well-being) through the delivery of awareness of Domestic Violence, therapeutic one to one counselling in a safe environment, development of relationships i.e victims/perpetrators/families & extended families training & awareness & improved

community life by delivering Domestic Violence talks & training in schools. These benefits are evidenced through attendance sheets, evaluation sheets, Public surveys on need, Research Projects, personal statements, case studies & physio-metric testing i.e. Beck Depression Inventory, Rosenberg & Clinical Outcomes Routine Evaluation etc. Regarding potential harm flowing for this benefit; participation in these support services always carries a risk of relapse, suicide, self harm & non engagement. Our organisation has policies & procedures in place to deal with any of the potential harm & we are also covered by insurance. All our therapists, counsellors, tutors & facilitators are all qualified, accessni checked & we keep a first aid box on the premises at all times with a nominated first-aider. The beneficiaries of this purpose is anyone effected by Domestic Violence (Victims/Perpetrators/Their families/Extended families & General public). The only possible private benefit arising from this is from time to time Counsellors, tutors, facilitators & volunteers may avail of training & volunteer expenses. However this benefit is incidental & necessary.

What your organisation does

The Organisation carries out its purpose by bringing insight, awareness, personal development to those impacted by domestic abuse, violence and parental alienation - by delivering workshops within our own premises, bringing other organisations together to compliment their services to help those within our community feel safer. It will give the

public an opportunity to openly discuss their views on domestic abuse, violence and parental alienation. Educate on the public's needs. To support those impacted by domestic abuse, violence and parental alienation. Emotional Well-being; By offering one to one therapeutic work to allow them to speak openly in a safe environment about their thoughts/feelings "YOUR VOICE IS YOUR FREEDOM" giving them a safe place to explore their world as they see it. Developing relationships with families impacted by domestic abuse, violence and parental alienation. By educating them on "Why Do They Stay" Understanding Impact Of Controlling Behaviours/Looking at the Perpetrators Behaviours. Assisting families to support/understand why they need to to be supported, also to reduce conflict. We believe your voice is your freedom and it is everyone's right to be heard. Develop with those involved appropriate safety plans to safeguard all involved/Community help reduce isolation. Bring families together in a non-judgmental environment allowing them the freedom to express/support/encourage/safeguard all within the family - Therefore allowing safer communities supporting the family & their surrounding neighbors communities. Deliver talks to schools educating, bringing awareness to the impact on the victim but also the families as they are to often forgotten about - our message on delivering these talks is "YOUR VOICE IS YOUR FREEDOM" highlighting it is ok to speak out about DOMESTIC VIOLENCE & that it is ok to be scared & that it is ok to ask for help.

Charitable purposes

The charity is established for the following purposes: To provide relief of emotional distress and suffering, and to preserve and protect the mental and physical health of persons who have suffered or are exposed to domestic violence and abuse, in particular by the provision of information, advice, training, practical and emotional support to persons living in a domestic abuse environment.
