The direct benefit that flow from this purpose is the provision of housing to both older people and those in need. These benefits are evidence through the quality of lives of those living in our purpose built homes and our low levels of void properties. Our Trustees do not receive any kind of personal or private benefit from the organisation.

What your organisation does

Alpha Housing improves the lives of our tenants through the provision of affordable, good quality, sustainable housing and services. We provide services in our sheltered housing schemes for older people. Such services include an onsite Scheme Manager who is either residential or non- residential to provide support, a 24 hour emergency helpline

via Fold Telecare and adaptations for those with disabilities.

Charitable purposes

The Association is formed for the benefit if the community. Its objects shall be to undertake for the benefit of the community; • the business of providing housing, accommodation, assistance to help house people and associated facilities and amenities for the prevention of relief or poverty or for those in need by reason of age, ill health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage; • any other charitable object that can be carried out by an Industrial and Provident Society registered as a Housing Association by the Department for Social Development.
