The benefits that flow from this purpose are to improve the quality of life for the range of residents living within the Hospital Lane estates. Through qualitative assessments such as baseline audits with all project beneficiaries at the beginning of programmes and comparisons again at the end of the projects, the public benefit of the community
organisation will be clearly demonstrated. Roe Valley Residents Association will seek to offer positive opportunities such as educational classes and health and well being courses which counteract and help directly tackle the issues surrounding lack of employment. These such courses will lead to a higher skillset amongst the local residents living with the local vicinity. Confidence Building and Self esteem workshops offered by the community organisation benefits the local residents as they are able to develop in confidence, become more self aware and helps to tackle directly the issues surrounding poor levels of mental health. Roe Valley Residents Association will also provide significant public benefit as its daily activities will seek to improve the physical and environmental appearance of the local area through a range of community led initiatives. Such initiatives will lead to improved living conditions and easier access to community services. There is no harm or potential for harm as a result of the purposes being carried out. No individual gains a private benefit as a result of the purposes being carried out.

Roe Valley Residents Association offer a range of community led initiatives to directly tackle the needs of the local residents. Educational programme such as Essential Skills - Literacy, Numeracy and ICT are offered. Alongside these, other accredited and non accredited courses are provided. Social needs are also addressed through confidence
based workshops, self esteem courses, mental health programmes, craft based programmes are all provided alongside social outings. These directly tackle the issue of social isolation faced by many residents living within the local area. These such activities are provided either Free of Charge or at a concessionary rate as Roe Valley Residents Association's beneficiaries suffer from significant levels of poverty. Projects specific to the needs and issues faced by young people and children are also delivered. These aim to build confidence, educational achievement, and reduce crime and anti social behaviour through structured projects and weekly youth clubs. In addition to its daily activities and service provision, Roe Valley Residents Association works in partnership with a variety of statutory and non statutory organisations providing easy access to services that some residents would not normally avail of because of some barriers they face.
