Public benefits

The public benefit which flows from our purpose is that the gospel of Jesus Christ is proclaimed among the general public, locally and abroad, which may result in a personal faith in Jesus Christ and lead to an improved spiritual, mental and moral wellbeing. Culcavey Gospel Hall provides a place to worship and fellowship through a range of

activities and provides spiritual teaching. Another benefit is the outworking of the Christian faith by supporting Christian charities and missionaries at the trustees’ discretion. These benefits are demonstrated through informal feedback from members, those who attend our services and activities, their families and the community in which we serve. We also have periodic reports from missionaries and outreach workers. The beneficiaries are the general public and our activities do not lead to any harm. The only private benefit flowing from this purpose is that Culcavey Gospel Hall at the discretion of the Trustees financially supports people who are involved in full time Christian work. All such financial support is listed in our annual financial report which is presented to the members at the AGM. This is incidental and necessary because it allows the recipients to dedicate their lives full time to advancement of the Christian faith.

What your organisation does

We are an assembly of Christians set up to advance the Christian faith primarily through church services and other arranged activities To achieve our purpose we organise meetings for the promotion of the Christian Gospel and have Bible study’s for the general public. We have Sunday School, Children’s meetings and Holiday Bible week to cater for

the children of the area and have a Community Hour where the older members of the Community meet for singing, musical items, a short Gospel message followed by a cup tea
