Public benefits
Easilink Community Transport provides non-profit community transport services for public benefit across Derry, Strabane and Omagh for those in need due to age, sickness, disability, poverty or because of a lack of adequate and safe public transport services. Our services are provided to promote independance and social inclusion, physical and mental
wellbeing and to assist individuals to access essential services such as health appointments, Education, Training and Employment. Our beneficiaries include people who are elderly, disabled, poor, rurally isolated and rural community groups. Our benefits are demonstrated through regular feedback from clients through surveys and stakeholder events and have been captured recently through an independent Social Return on Investment study. Easilink CT is committed to community development principles and we work with many other organisations and charities engaged in promoting the relief of persons who are in need through the provision of appropriate services. This engagement with these other local organisations includes the promotion of volunteering and accredited training to allow groups to use our community minibuses to enhance the activities of their group.

Easilink Community Transport provides affordable and accessible transport services to individuals who have no access to private or public transport to get to essential local services or community activities across the Council areas of Derry, Strabane and Omagh. Easilink Community Transport secures grants from a number of bodies and generates some
income from subsidised fares to support the provision of our community transport services. Easilink Community Transport operates a range of minibuses and a volunteer car scheme. Easilink provides accredited training to local volunteers who can then use our community minibuses to enhance the activities offered to their local community group members. Easilink provides information locally and through community networks to inform the public of the services we provide to help access local services.
